Hi,

Have you tried to modify the file plugin_customization located in Notes install directory: <INSTALLDIR>\Notes\framework\rcp.
Set the key com.ibm.notes.branding/enable.update.ui=true.
This will activate the menu for managing updates from the Notes client and this way you will be able to install your feature through an update site.
